FYS-APP 7.2 has been released. This version is Posix compliant. It was tested in Debian Linux as well as Windows 11. In theory it should work on Mac, however I have no access to a Mac to test.

I am sorry there are no specific instructions for installing Python and fys-app on a Unix based system. This will vary from system to system. When I installed Python on Debian I had to install a couple of Python related packages to get fys-app to work. I had to install the Python package manager (pip) to be able to install Python modules. I also had to Python Tk packages for the GUI to work.

I would be interested to hearing from users that get the application running on platforms other than Windows.
