  • FYS-Server 1.23

FYS-Server v 1.23 marks a big change for the server. With this release the server code is now running on a cloud platform, prior versions ran on a local server. Moving the server to the cloud brings us a step closer to what the final product will be. The server seems to be stable, but…

  • FYS-Server v 1.12

This release fixes a number of bugs. I just started running this in test mode in the dev server. So far it seems stable. I plan to run it in the dev server for a while to determine its stability.

  • FYS-Server v 1.09

Minor updates to the server code. This release will help the testing of the server capabilities in the test environment.

  • FYS-Server V1.08

Work continues with the server code. Changed how the data is gathered and made some performance improvements. Also worked on some of the helper scripts for managing server start and stop.

  • Double release: FYS-Server V1.03 and FYS-App V6.05

FYS-Server V1.03 fixes an issue with data collection. Also tweaked some of the scripts to facilitate future debugging of the code. FYS-App V6.05 continued cleaning the code. Removed large chunks of obsolete code. Both server and client are moving towards a stable base. Progress continues towards the final goal.

Version 6.0 marks a new direction. The live scanner is implemented as a client for FYS-Server 0.01. Testing is in early stages, but early results look encouraging. FYS-App 6.0 still contains a lot of the standalone code. Future subversions of 6.0 will be to clean up obsolete functions now implemented on the server side.

  • FYS-Server ver 0.01

The initial version of FYS is up and running in a test environment. Although this is great progress, there is a lot of work needed towards integrating the data and operation with a client FYS.

  • New Dev environment

The new development environment is up and running. This will allow me to start work on the new architecture for FYS. The original code is a single program that runs locally on a host. In the future, FYS will be in a client/server architecture. The client portion will operate the end user interface and it…
